Joel's stuff

Welcome

Thanks for bumping into this wiki. This is a documentation project for just about anything. I collect project reports, lectures, information about generic problems, how i solved them and even how i screwed up. If you write me a nice email you might participate, too :)

You will find information here, that is not complete, misleading or in testing. I hereby encourage you to think before Copy&Paste. Thank you!

What you already find here

What you might find here soon or not so soon:

This (hopefully) will be found here (one day (perhaps)):

  • The nature and amazingness of some machines I have/had my hands on
  • Documents about modifying a Linksys WAP54G to be a console server
  • Blind call into the dead pixel problematic on TN displays
  • Some HP inkjet Spare Part assignments
  • Pinout and HowTo for building VGA (HD15) Display to SGI (13W3 sgi) and Sun (13W3 sun) Machine Video Outputs

Vote for the next topic to be written

Hidden Progress

While some progress is visible to visitors here, most of it remains covered by my privacy. I moved some time ago and i hope, that I can finally recover some old webserver backup with useful old wiki entries about the above “you may soon read about this”-Topics. I hope, that this will take place in the next week, when some needed parts for hard disk recovery arrived savely in here.

Starting Again

Well, this once was a mediawiki on stuff.jpoetry.net. I am going to copy over the whole old content, improving it where possible and regaining the old state before beginning something new. If you are missing something or just want to add your own stuff, you are free to request an account
